How much does a custom stencil cost?
Custom stencils start at $15 per square foot. Your exact price depends on the size and design. We send it with your proof before you pay anything.
What kind of photo works best?
Strong light and shadow. Faces work brilliantly. High contrast beats high resolution — a well-lit phone photo cuts better than a flat, evenly-lit studio shot. If you're not sure, send it anyway and we'll tell you straight.
Am I paying anything right now?
No. Sending a request is free and there's no card involved. We reply with a proof and a price, and you only pay if you want us to make it.
What material do you use?
Everything is cut from reusable 10-mil plastic. It survives repeated sprayings and cleaning, so you can do a run of shirts or spray the same design again and again.
How big can you go?
Stock sizes go up to 24×36". For extra-long stencils we do sectional cutting: the plastic feeds through the laser one section at a time, so a long banner, wall border or mural piece comes out as one continuous stencil up to 36" wide, with no seams to line up. Wider than 36"? We split it into panels with registration marks so they line up on the wall. Tell us the size and we'll quote it.
How long does it take?
You'll usually have a proof within 24 hours. Once you approve it, we cut and ship quickly — tell us if you're working to a deadline and we'll say honestly whether we can hit it.
